Breochloch is Community and Educational Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Consultancy based in West Belfast. Breochloch is founded upon the belief that the historic environment is a vital component within the construction of personal and collective identities. Engaging with the material remains of the past can serve to advance a sense of place and to foster community cohesion through a developed and shared sense of ownership. We, also believe that the Archaeological and Cultural Heritage is a "Natural Resource" and a major engine of economic and social development.


Breochloch offers a range of services to groups and organisations that are seeking to develop and deliver community and educational dimensions to archaeological and heritage projects. The design and delivery of innovative learning experiences and programmes of study based around archaeology and cultural heritage is a speciality.

Breochloch is formed by  Miguel Gonzalez (PhD, MAB). Archaeologist and Consultant of Heritage with more that 15 years of experience in different countries.  Former director of Adgea. Estudo do Xestion do Patrimonio (Galician Heritage Consultancy). He has worked among others with the Spanish Group's Heritage Cities of UNESCO, Government of Galicia, City of Salamanca (Spain), City of Santiago de Compostela (Galicia), Lisbon Autonomus University (Portugal) or Cordoba University (Spain)an Santiago de Compostela University (Galicia).
